The Artisan Kitchen has been awarded a 2 Star rated Vavista Award for its Blaisdon Red Plum Jam having passed stringent, independent test criteria on the health and wellbeing benefits it offers.
In line with its ethos to create healthier choices for consumers, The Artisan Kitchen has made significant investments in its Blaisdon Red Plum Jam which have now been recognised and rewarded by a judging panel made up of key industry experts.
In a marketplace overcrowded with unsubstantiated claims which leave consumers searching for clarity and guidance in their product choice, The Vavista Award is an easily recognisable, independently gained, stamp of approval which allows shoppers to quickly identify a product’s benefits against its competitors when faced with rows of similar products.
Sarah Churchill, Owner & Producer from The Artisan Kitchen comments:
“This is fantastic recognition for my company and the rare heritage Blaisdon Plum, which makes this delicious preserve. The fruit is sourced locally from traditional, unsprayed, ancient orchards within a 5 mile radius of my jam kitchen. The fruit is hand gathered then cooked in small batches to traditional preserving methods, only ever using 100% natural ingredients”
The Vavista Eat Better, Live Better, Work Better Award scheme is a scientifically-based accreditation of a company’s contribution to improving the health values of its products or services when assessed against its competitors, whatever its field.
Dr Sally Norton,
Leading Weight Loss Expert and founder of Vavista.com & Vavista Trade Awards, adds:
“Having launched a holistic well-being and diet-free weight-loss site for women, Vavista.com, I felt that there was a need to recognise companies who help consumers to lead a healthier life by supplying healthier food and product choices. For this reason I have launched Vavista Awards – to recognise companies which can demonstrate that their products represent the ‘best in their field’ in terms of health, well being and, ultimately, happy living. I have selected a wide panel of judges who are in tune with our ethos: experts and pioneers in their field who promote well-being through healthy choices within their own work-place.”
