Ingredients
2 tsp The Artisan Kitchen Lime, Lemon & Vanilla Marmalade
50ml premium gin (or vodka for a lighter twist)
25ml fresh lemon juice
15ml sugar syrup, optional
Ice
Lemon twist or dehydrated citrus wheel, to garnish
Method
Add the marmalade, gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup to a cocktail shaker.
Fill with ice and shake vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds. This helps the marmalade dissolve smoothly into the cocktail.
Fine strain into a chilled martini or coupe glass for a silky texture.
Twist a strip of lemon peel over the glass to release the oils, then drop it in as garnish.
For extra flair you can lightly rim the glass with marmalade and dip it in fine sugar.
Optional Twists
Marmalade Spritz: top with soda water or prosecco for a lighter sparkling version.
Bitter balance: add a few drops of orange bitters for extra depth.
