News hot off the press tonight from the World’s Original Marmalade Awards 2015. After weeks of busy days at the marmalade pan, we entered eight new flavours into the competition.
We are delighted to announce that every single jar received an award.
Four marmalades earned Gold medals. These included Seville Orange Rosemary & Black Pepper Marmalade, Blood Orange Vanilla Marmalade, Pink Grapefruit Vanilla Marmalade and Sweet Orange Passionfruit Marmalade.
Two further preserves received Silver recognition. These were Seville Orange Hibiscus Marmalade and Seville Orange Tonka Bean Marmalade.
Two additional recipes completed the collection with Bronze medals: Seville Orange Marmalade and Seville Orange Vanilla Vodka Marmalade.
After such a fantastic result, we are definitely enjoying a few celebratory bubbles tonight.

The Marmalade Awards Festival
The World’s Original Marmalade Awards take place each year at Dalemain Mansion in Cumbria. The event celebrates the heritage and creativity of marmalade making while welcoming entries from around the world.
Judges blind-taste each marmalade and assess flavour, texture and balance. The competition often showcases wonderfully inventive combinations, from honey and vodka to coffee and aromatic spices.
These imaginative recipes highlight how marmalade continues to evolve while still honouring the traditions of British preserving.
