At The Artisan Kitchen, we handcraft plum jams in small batches in Gloucestershire. We use distinctive British fruit, from traditional damsons to rare and heritage plum varieties.

Our plum collection celebrates the differences between individual fruit varieties. Some are rich and deeply coloured. Others are brighter and naturally sharper.
We preserve each variety to keep its own character at the heart of the finished jar.
The range includes The Artisan Kitchen Blaisdon Red Plum Jam™, made with the rare Gloucestershire Blaisdon Red plum. It also includes Early Rivers Prolific Plum Jam, traditional Damson Jam and seasonal plum preserves when available.
In 2017, The Artisan Kitchen Blaisdon Red Plum Jam™ won Taste of the West Champion Sweet Preserves. It also received a three-star Great Taste Award in the same year.
Early Rivers Prolific Plum Jam has also enjoyed major recognition. It won Taste of the West Champion Preserve in both 2015 and 2018. Then, in 2025, it received three Great Taste stars.
Together, these preserves reflect The Artisan Kitchen’s long-standing love of distinctive British plum varieties. They also show our commitment to small-batch, fruit-led preserving.
