- Trim the wick
Before each use, trim the wick to approximately 5 mm. - Create an even melt pool
On the first burn, allow the melted wax to reach close to the edge of the container to help reduce tunnelling. - Choose a safe position
Place the candle upright on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from draughts. - Extinguish carefully
Put out the flame safely and allow the wax and container to cool before handling.
