Description

Wild Blueberry Jam

An exceptionally high-fruit jam made with around 150 wild blueberries in every jar for intense berry flavour, natural tang and a rich, glossy texture.

Quick answer: Wild Blueberry Jam is a limited-edition preserve made with wild blueberries, sugar and lemon juice. Each 200 g jar contains around 150 berries, giving the jam an exceptionally high fruit content, deep blueberry flavour and a naturally sweet-tart finish.

Our Wild Blueberry Jam is made to preserve the true flavour of these tiny, intensely flavoured berries.

Wild blueberries may be smaller than cultivated varieties, but their flavour is concentrated, aromatic and beautifully balanced between sweetness and natural tang.

We use around 150 wild blueberries in every jar and cook the fruit by hand in small batches. The result is a deeply coloured, generously fruited jam with berry skins, soft fruit pieces and a clean, vibrant finish.

Choose this jam if you enjoy intense blueberry flavour, exceptionally high fruit content and a natural balance of sweetness and tang.

Sweetness: Naturally fruity and carefully balanced

Sharpness: A fresh berry tang with gentle lemon brightness

Texture: Rich and glossy with soft berries and natural skins

Finish: Clean, vivid and intensely fruity

What Are Wild Blueberries?

Wild blueberries are naturally smaller than the larger cultivated blueberries commonly sold in supermarkets.

Their smaller size gives them a higher proportion of skin to flesh, contributing deeper colour, greater texture and a more concentrated berry flavour.

Their natural balance of sweetness and tartness makes them particularly good for jam, where their distinctive character remains clear after cooking.

Why We Use So Much Fruit

A proper blueberry jam should taste unmistakably of blueberries rather than simply sweetness.

Using around 150 wild blueberries in each jar creates a naturally rich colour, thick texture and intense fruit flavour. Lemon juice adds freshness and helps balance the berries without distracting from them.

Because the recipe is so fruit-led, the finished jam works equally well as a breakfast preserve, baking ingredient or simple dessert accompaniment.

How to Enjoy It

  • Spread on warm toast, croissants, crumpets or brioche
  • Spoon over Greek yoghurt, porridge or overnight oats
  • Serve with pancakes, waffles or French toast
  • Use as a filling for sponge cakes, pastries or muffins
  • Pair with Brie, goat’s cheese, ricotta or cream cheese
  • Spoon over vanilla ice cream, cheesecake or panna cotta

Chef-crafted, small batch, preserving excellence.

Sarah’s Maker’s Note

Wild blueberries have a much more concentrated flavour than their size suggests. I use around 150 berries in each jar so the finished jam remains properly fruit-led, with enough natural tang to balance its richness.

Made for Breakfast and Baking

The rich texture and high fruit content make this jam particularly useful in baking. It gives cakes and pastries a clear blueberry flavour without becoming thin or disappearing into the mixture.

  • Layer into a Victoria sponge with vanilla buttercream
  • Use as a filling for Danish pastries or turnovers
  • Swirl through muffin or blondie batter
  • Spoon into thumbprint biscuits or jam tarts
  • Ripple through cheesecake or a simple yoghurt loaf

Simple Serving Ideas

  • Layer with thick yoghurt and toasted granola
  • Mix with mascarpone for an easy cake filling
  • Spoon over warm pancakes with crème fraîche
  • Serve with goat’s cheese and seeded crackers
  • Warm gently and pour over vanilla ice cream

  1. Jeff Burridge –

Delightful winberry flavour, reminiscent of picking them in my youth. Lovely.

  2. Caroline Muller –

Fabulous jam highly recommend it and all the jams

  3. Danny –

As a returning customer I usually browse for lines I’ve not purchased previously amongst the staples. This one is quite thick but still spreads easily on toast. Slightly tangier taste, almost in the marmalade range but still very nice. Would certainly buy it again once my stock is out. Consistent high standards maintained with this range 👍👍👍

  4. Felicity Spencer –

My husband loves this one. I’m not really into blueberries!

  5. Sonia –

    Packed with fruit beautiful

  6. Paul Waters –

A fabulous jam! A great taste and as good a jam as we’ve tasted! Wow!
